어린이합창의 실태조사와 효과적인 지도방법 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 학교 음악 수업 중 전인교육에 있어서 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있는 어린이 합창교육의 실태조사를 토대로, 그 효과적인 지도방법을 제안한 연구이다. 어린이들은 합창교육을 어떻게 받아들이고 있는지에 대한 실태 조사를 실시함으로써 어린이 합창교육의 효과적인 지도와 개선 방안을 제시하기 위하여 수행되었다. 실태조사는 서울의 송파구에 위치한 총 29개 초등학교 중 10개 학교를 무작위로 선정하여 교사들을 대상으로 어린이 합창교육에 대하여 조사를 실시하였다. 아울러 초등학교 4 ~ 6학년 어린이 중 98명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 현재 이루어지고 있는 음악시간 중 합창수업에 관한 실태를 조사 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 학교마다 별도의 음악실을 갖추고 있지는 않으나 합창반은 운영하고 있으며 음악수업에서 부족한 합창 부분은 교내합창대회를 통하여 보충되고 있으나 합창연습 시간이 5 ~ 6시간으로 부족한 편이다. 2. 음악이 어린이들에게 학문으로만 인식되지 않도록 하여야 한다. 3. 음악의 기초부분을 편중 되지 않게 교육 시키되 전문적인 음악교육이 이루어질 수 있도록 하여야 한다. 4. 어린이 합창을 효과적으로 지도하기 위해서는 어린이들이 아름다운 소리를 만들어 내는 것보다 중요한 것은 즐거움을 줄 수 있는 것이 음악이라는 사실을 느낄 수 있도록 해야 한다. 5. 합창연습 전에 어린이 개개인의 음역대를 확인하고 파트를 나누어야 더 효과적인 합창지도가 이루어질 수 있다. 6. 향후, 합창을 통한 단결심을 배양하고 공동체의 일원으로 성장하는 소양을 육성하기 위해서 즐겁게 합창연습을 하며 합창경연대회에 참가하는 등의 대외활동을 통하여 성취감을 높일 수 있는 프로그램 개발에 관한 연구가 필요하다.; In this study, the effective guidance of choral education was proposed on the basis of actual condition investigation of children's choral education in elementary school. The actual condition investigation was conducted about children's choral education with teachers of 10 schools selected randomly from in the total 29 elementary schools which are located in Songpa-gu of Seoul. In addition, a survey with 98 children of 4 ~ 6th grades of elementary school was carried out and analyzed on choral education in music class, and then the effective guidance of choral education for elementary school was suggested. 1. Every elementary school in Songpa-gu does not equip the music practice room but has choir. Insufficient times for chorus in music class were supplemented through chorus contest in school. They spent 5~6 hours for chorus contest. 2. Well balanced music education between fundamental and professional was required for elementary school. 3. In order to teach children's choral effectively, the children have to be known that music gives a joy is more important than making a beautiful sound. 4. Before music practicing, it will be confirmed musical range of voice of each child and divided the part of chorus. 5. Hereafter, the researches regarding the program development which are for the cultivation of cooperative spirit and the training for a member of community through joyful choral practice and for enhancement of a sense of achievement through outside activities which participate to chorus contests are necessary. 6. Music class in elementary school is attached to the fundamental chord and education for chorus.
