효율적인 네트워킹을 위한 라우팅 루프 해결기법

Abstract

라우팅 루프(Routing Loop)는 튼튼하고 건장한 네트워크 설계에서는 발생하지 않는다. 그러나 불행하게도 아무리 튼튼하고 건장한 네트워크를 구축하려고 해도 네트워크는 언제 어디서든지 간에 완벽하지는 않다. 루프가 나타났을 때에 네트워크에서의 라우터는 부정확한 라우팅 테이블 정보에 근거를 두고 그들의 라우팅을 결정하고 전송하게 된다. 결과적으로 데이터 들은 그들의 최종목적지에 도달하지 못하고 네트워크에서 끝없는 순환을 반복하게 된다. 이로 인해 네트워크 안에서 BANDWIDTH를 증가 시키고 CPU의 이용도를 증가를 시켜 내부적으로 부하가 커지고 처리 시간도 길어지게 되는 것이다. 또한 이 루프를 차단하거나 해결하지 못한다면 네트워크의 마비로 이어져 큰 혼란이 예상 되어진다. 최근 출시되고 있는 라우터 장비들은 이러한 루프를 방지하는 기술이 보완되어지고 있지만, 언제 어디서 예기치 못하게 발생되는 근본적인 루핑은 막을 수 없을 것이다. 따라서 네트워크 엔지니어들의 역할이 중요하다. 이 논문에서는 비정상적인 라우팅으로 인해 발생되는 라우팅 루프에 대한 즉각적으로 대응할 수 있는 다양한 트러블 슈팅(Trouble shooting)을 제안한다. 라우팅 루프가 발생하는 상황은 다양하다, 또한 그 상황을 즉각적으로 파악하고 그 상황에 맞는 대처방법 또한 매우 다양하기 때문에 그 여러 가지 대처방법을 종합하고 소개하고자 한다.; The routing loop never happens in well-designed network. But unfortunately, even though we tried to design the well-designed network structure, it is always not perfects. When the looping problem happens on network, a router will make a decision based on incorrect routing table and transmit data. Consequently, data can't be reached to the destination and make an infinite loop. For this reason, the network bandwidth and CPU usage will be increased in the network. It also makes growing of overload and increases processing time. If this loops can be not solved by network manager, it will make network forzen, which result from a hugs turbulence. Currently, releasing routing devices have advanced technology for loop preventio, it can't protect network from unknown cases. So the role of network engineer is getting important. In this paper, to prevent from routing loop by irregular routing, this paper suggests the trouble shooting method. Routing loop happens in many cases and trouble shooting methods also vaious, too. In this paper, I'm going to introduce and integrate troubleshooting methods in different cases.
