Web 2.0 환경에서의 효율적인 인터페이스 디자인에 관한 연구

Abstract

인터넷은 1969년 미 국방성에서 계획한 '아르파넷(ARPANet)'이라는 군사적인 목적의 네트워크에서부터 비롯되어 오늘에 이르러서는 일상생활에서 항상 접하게 되는 하나의 수단으로 자리하게 되었다. 초기의 웹이 텍스트를 위주로 한 정보 전달의 형태였다면 지금은 쌍방향 커뮤니케이션적 요소로서 이미지와 텍스트, 사운드가 상호 혼재된 형식의 멀티미디어 인터페이스 디자인부터 정보 설계의 최적화를 위한 단순한 네비게이션 기능만을 강조한 인터페이스까지 발전 하였으며, 신조어인 web 2.0 이라는 단어까지 탄생시켰다. 기존의 닷컴 위주의 포털 사이트 중심의 web을 1.0 이라고 한다면 web 2.0은 보다 광범위하고 포괄적인 개념으로 정보의 개방과 공유, 쌍방향 커뮤니케이션을 위주로 단순한 정보 전달자와 수용자의 입장에서 벗어나 포털의 개념이 아닌 주어진 공간 안에서의 토론과 정보의 공유를 통한 보다 효과적이고 능동적인 개념의 웹이라 할 수 있다. web 2.0은 새로운 기술이 아닌 web 환경의 새로운 변화를 말하는 것이다. 앞으로의 web 2.0의 발달로 기존의 운영 체제와 소프트웨어의 환경을 송두리 째 바뀌게 될 것이며, web을 통하여 과거에 하지 못했던 거의 모든 일들을 할 수 있는 통합 패키지의 개념을 가지게 될 것이다. 그러한 변화 속에서 인터넷 환경에서도 변화된 디자인 계획이 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 web 2.0 환경에서 사용자의 정보 접근 향상을 위한 여러 가지 면 중에서 정보 전달의 도구로써 GUI의 시각적 요소에 기초한 분석을 하였다. web 2.0 환경에서의 효율적이며 생산적인 인터페이스 디자인에 대한 감성을 사용자 만족도 측면과 웹 사이트 구축에서의 디자인 과정에 합리적으로 적용시키기 위한 효율적인 GUI 디자인 패턴을 연구하여 단순한 내비게이션으로서의 툴을 넘어서 더욱더 무한한 가능성을 향한 지향점인 web 2.0에 있어서 좀 더 효율적이고 발전된 인터페이스 디자인 모형을 발견하고 제시하여 앞으로의 디자인 패러다임(Paradigm)을 제안하고자 한다. 본 논문의 연구 수행을 위하여 먼저 기존 문헌의 조사를 통하여 web 1.0 기반 사이트의 인터페이스 시스템을 분석 하였으며 기존 닷컴 기반의 사이트들의 문제점을 되짚어보며 현재 web 2.0이라고 일컬어지는 사이트들의 디자인 패턴과 유형을 분석하였으며, 그 문제점과 사용성의 평가 요인을 수집, 분류하여 웹 사이트에서의 GUI에 관한 요소를 분석하였다. 분석 요소를 통하여 사용자층의 만족도와 선호도를 알아보기 위한 설문 조사를 통하여 수용자 층이 원하는 web 2.0에서의 GUI구축을 위한 평가 지표로 삼았다. 이를 기준으로 web 2.0 환경에서의 사용자층을 만족시키는 효율적인 GUI 디자인에 관하여 고찰 하였으며, web 2.0의 기본 개념인 GUI에 관한 디자인을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 web 2.0환경에서의 GUI에 관한 디자인 방안은 사용자들의 감성과 트렌드를 파악하고 이를 보다 합리적으로 디자인 과정에 반영하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대하며 연구 결과를 통해 web 2.0 시대의 디자인 트렌드를 분석해 보며 앞으로 도래할 web 2.0 site구축에 있어서 발전적인 모델을 제시하고자 한다.; Internet began from the network that was planned for military purpose by USA in 1969. Nowadays it became an instrument we always use in our life. At the beginning, the web used a text to give informations. It has been developed to a multimedia interface design that has image, text and sound , an interface that emphasize simple navigation function for optimum information design. Therefore, a newly-coined word 'web2.0' has been created. When we say the web1.0 is the portal site that using 'dot com', the web2.0 has wider meaning that doesn't mean portal; it is free from opening and sharing of information and simple information messenger and user for interactive communication, but it means effective and active web by having discussion and sharing of information in the given space. The web2.0 means changing of web environment, not a new skill. As developing of web, these days operating system and software environment will be totally changed. It will have a meaning of total package we could do anything that we couldn't do in the past with the web. In this change, it is required a new design plan in the internet environment. This study analyzes based on visual part of GUI as an instrument for information delivery to improve information access for users in the web 2.0 environment. It studies the effective GUI design patterns to apply rationally the sense of effective and productive interface design in the web2.0 environment in users' satisfaction and design process for build web site. It presents a new design paradime as it discovers and shows more effective and developed interface design model. The purpose of web 2.0 is to have infinity potentiality not a simple tool as navigation. And it also analyzes web1.0 site's interface system through examination of existing documentary records, finding problems of existing site, analyzing the design pattern and type of site that called web2.0, analyzing GUI factor in the web site by collecting and grouping of these problems and using estimated factor. The information has been estimated to build GUI in the web2.0 that users want by using analyzed factors. It is made by research for understanding users' satisfaction and preferences. It is considered as effective GUI design that satisfies the user in the web2.0 environment, and presents GUI design that is fundamental notion of the web2.0. The design of GUI in the web2.0 environment helps grasp of users senses and trends to reflect in logical design processes, analyze design trend of the web2.0 era by this study, presents developmental model to build web2.0 site.
