기업의 경쟁력 향상을 위한 전략적 아웃소싱 활용에 관한 연구

Abstract

급변하는 경제 환경 변화에 신속하게 대응하기 위한 조직을 구축하려는 시도가 확산되면서 아웃소싱이 전략적 수단으로 활발히 이용되고 있다. 비효율을 최소화하고 불필요한 기능을 축소함으로써 조직을 가볍게 하여, 환경변화에 유연하게 대처할 수 있는 방법으로 아웃소싱을 적극 활용하는 사례가 계속 늘어나고 있다. 본 연구에서는 K사의 전략적 아웃소싱 도입 사례를 아웃소싱의 이론적 배경과 함께 살펴보고, K사의 아웃소싱 추진배경과 도입과정 및 아웃소싱 대상업무 선정과정 등을 분석하였다. K사가 아웃소싱을 도입ㄱ활용함으로서 기업에 미치는 영향과 기대효과 및 문제점에 대해 알아보았다. K사의 사례연구 결과 전략적 아웃소싱 도입으로 인한 효과는, 1. 기업의 비용절감 2. 조직의 유연성 확보 3. 단시간 전문 인력의 활용 4. 고객관리 측면 - 표준화ㄱ전문화를 통한 서비스의 질 향상 5. 경영관리 측면 - 중복 유사업무의 통합 및 Slim화를 통한 비용 효율화 6. 시스템관리 측면 - 시스템 투자 효율성 증대 및 대응능력 강화 아웃소싱 도입으로 인해 나타난 문제점으로는, 1. 조직 구성원의 고용불안 및 집단화 발생 2. 내부 능력 상실로 인한 전략적 유연성 약화 3. 경영 환경 변화에 대한 대응력 부족 4. Vendor사의 소극적인 업무처리 5. Vendor사와의 시스템 불일치로 인한 실행오류 및 시행착오 발생 전략적으로 아웃소싱을 도입하고 이를 활용함으로서 많은 도입 효과를 얻었으나, 아웃소싱의 도입 이후 예상치 못한 인력 및 비용증가와 Vendor사와의 갈등으로 아웃소싱의 정착에 많은 시행착오와 문제점을 표출하였다. 아웃소싱 도입의 문제점 개선방안으로는, 1. 구성원과의 신뢰관계 구축 2. 내부 인적자원의 육성 3. Vendor사와의 원활한 의사소통 및 관계유지 4. 문제점 개선 후 재발 방지 방안 마련 (Vendor사와 계약 시 역할과 책임을 정확히 구분하여 명시) 아웃소싱의 목적이 단순한 비용 절감 또는 기술격차의 극복 수단이 아니라 전략적 목적이 수반된 기업의 생존을 위한 수단으로 활용할 수 있도록 조직구성원의 인식 변화가 필요하며, 가볍지만 강력한(Simple & Strong) 조직전략을 구사하기 위해 기업의 중·장기 성장 Road Map을 수립하고, 수립된 성장 전략에 맞춰 아웃소싱을 도입·활용하기 위한 체계적이고 합리적인 방안이 요구된다.; The business environment is changed challengeable at high speed. To be a competitive company and survive as a winner in these tough biz circumstances, having a flexible organization is the most necessary point. In having a flexible organization, the outsourcing is used important tool in the strategic approach increasingly. Through keeping the company light -minimizing the in the efficiency of management and reduction of ineffective function of organization- is increasing these days. In this research, I will show the case, "Company K" which realized the efficiency of management through adjusting the outsourcing with the theoric background of the outsourcing focusing the background, the process, the target and procedure. And also, I will bring the influence and the effectiveness from the above case,"Company K". Effectiveness of the case "Company K" which inducted the outsourcing 1. Reduction of the expenses 2. Flexibility of organization 3. Best use of the professional in short time 4. Customer Care - Upgrade of the service quality through the standardization and the specialization 5. Biz Management - Efficiency through the combining similar functions and the keeping the slim organization 6. System Management - the enlargement of investment efficiency and the strengthening the ability of the meeting the situation Issues from the outsourcing in the case "Compny K" 1. Fear of unemployment and the collectivization 2. Weakness of the flexible strategy from losing the inner power 3. Insufficiency of the speedy countermove 4. The negative business handling of vendor 5. Mistakes and errors from the discordance between vendor and client systems For all that the inducting the strategy,"outsourcing" gives a lot of efficiency of management, it still remains problems that occurs the unexpected expenses and conflicts from vendor. To overcome these problems, firstly we have to think over the effectiveness of the management and secondly developing the strategy of outsourcing which enable to set the co-work system with vendors. And also, I found out that the purpose of the outsourcing is not only the tool to reduce expenses but also the key to survive. To induct the strategy "outsourcing" successfully, we have to change the cognition between employers and to set up the reasonable plan following the long-term roadmap of the company.
