Demand on high quality video contents, such as HDTV , HD DVD, and Blu-ray Disc, is forcing evolutions of Flat Panel Display(FPD) including TFT-LCDs and OLEDs in recent years, dreaming us the FPDs have more and more natural color. This requires the data driving system should produce very fine and accurate signal voltages or currents, sometimes letting the system meet some limits. Especially, the non-uniformity among channels of a driving system is more critical than just their absolute offset errors because the color or luminance differences are easily noticeable. This paper proposes an output channel non-uniformity compensation driving method for minimizing the non-uniformity and analyzes its characteristics and flicker problem, referring to human visual system. Especially, its analysis reveals its quantitative characteristics in addition to the qualitative characteristics as low-pass filter on spatial frequency domain of output channel offset error, presenting design guideline. The proposed method confirmed its impact by simulations using C-programming and operating the test pattern.-
