Abstract
A letter language interpreted an image is used to great the utility property of meaning travelling in visual typography. The purpose of this study is to research applying effects of lighting, bluring, writing and shattering technique on chinese letters of Junseo, Haeseo and Choseo for effective moving typography. The result is as follows.The feeling of Junseo letter as shape changed to modern letters from a hexagon letters is strong and the applying effect of lighting and shattering on this letter having metallic feeling is effect in broadcasting title that is needed correct reading. The Haeseo letter as middle shape of Junseo and Choseo is used much in modern society, the applying effect of 4 techniques is good. But, for strong feeling, the shattering is more effect than the others, and soft for feeling, the bluring is more effect than the others. In Choseo letters shape made simple, because of its image is soft and feminine, the bluring and lighting effect is suitable. Therefore, the several works presented in this study is to make applying this research results. It is thought that this analysis of handwriting and applying effect of 4 techniques on 3 letters is good data to designers.
