사용자 편의성을 고려한 이동 단말기에 대한 고찰

Abstract

오늘날 이동통신 서비스 시장은 치열한 경쟁속에서 빠른 속도로 대중화되고 있으며, 그러한 이동통신 서비스를 이용할 수 있는 이동 단말기 또한 빠르게 발전하고 있다. 사용자는 이동 단말기를 들고 다니면서 각종의 기능을 수행할 수 있다. 따라서 이동 단말기를 개발할 때에는 사용자의 편의성을 고려해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 편리성 또는 편의성을 고려하여 개발된 이동 단말기에 대해 논의하도록 하겠다. 일례로 보다 쉬운 한글 입력을 위해서 사용자 인터페이스(User Interface)를 바탕으로 이동 단말기 키패드(Keypad)를 분산형 한글 자판 배열로 디자인하고, 그 자판 배열을 이용해서 쉽게 한글 문자를 입력할 수 있는 사용자 중심의 대화형 방법을 제안한다. 또 다른 일례로 이동 단말기에서 발광부를 이용하여 사용자 편의성을 증대시킬 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 그 외에도 이동 단말기에서 알람 서비스 제공 방법, 이동 단말기에서 단축 경로 인터페이스를 이용하여 경로를 단축시키는 방법 등도 제안한다.; Recently, a mobile communication service market has been popularized fast and has brought intensive competitions. Also, mobile terminals for receiving mobile communication services have been developed fast. A user may carry a mobile terminal so as to perform various functions by using the mobile terminal. Thus, when mobile terminals are developed, user's convenience has to be considered in advance. The present study provides a mobile terminal that is developed in consideration of user's advantages or convenience. As an example, the present study suggests a user-centered conversational method in which a keypad of a mobile terminal is designed so as to have a dispersed arrangement of Korean character keys based on a user interface and users may easily input Korean characters by using the key arrangement. As another example, the present study also suggests a method of improving user's convenience by using an emission unit in a mobile terminal. Furthermore, the present study also suggests a method of providing an alarm service by using a mobile terminal and a method of providing shortcut routes by using a shortcut route interface of a mobile terminal.
