복합상업시설에서의 효과적인 길 찾기를 위한 정보디자인 연구

Abstract

Complication and enlargement of buildings are becoming general solutions thanks to spacial negotiation and convergence of various contents in accordance with the development and expansion of city, and internal space of these large-scaled complex business facilities is designed as systematic space accommodating structure and function getting diversified keeping up with the trend of era. Users of building should be aware of space information to a certain extent to find their location and destination in this kind of multifunctional, multi-structural business complex, and for this reason, the role of space guidance system is emerging as important matter which should not be neglected anymore. As this trend of complication and enlargement of building is getting accelerated, its function was getting complicated more, and this matter caused problem of user's request for information to use complicated spaced structure conveniently. Interest was heightened in the design of space information as this matter got linked to utility of space information, which shows that space guidance system through effective application of information is efficient for user's use of building, and information design space map in consideration of space recognition efficiency is settled as keyword of information design in business complex as use of design and building guidance system is increased considering user's convenience and portability. Design bringing satisfaction to user's space structure recognition and fast route finding is creating enormous efficiency to user. In addition, it is another one factor that only multi-system and guidance sign function are not enough for recognition of whole business complex structure. For users also, they grow to show unfavorableness to guidance map with complicated information and on the contrary, they tend to prefer simple and easily readable guidance information. According to he need of this utility of space guidance, this study intended to suggest space guidance system providing utility of fast way finding and visual enjoyment in addition to user's structural recognition of overall space by designing space information after finding and inferring user's desire for information recognition instead of existing simple space diagram with focus on multi-functional structure of business complex and effect of fast way finding between users. For this, types of structure of information design and guide map were reviewed, and space guidance map of I-park mall was analyzed as an example. On the basis of the result of this analysis, space infomation design of which information application for fast way finding was is heightened is suggested, This study is purposed to aim at the possibility of effective application of space guidance system by suggesting effective and efficient design type and structure for space use information for users.; 건축물의 복합화, 대형화는 도시의 발달과 팽창에 맞물려 공간적 협상과 다양한 콘텐츠의 집약점으로 보편적 해결방안이 되고 있으며, 이러한 대규모의 복합상업시설 내부공간은 시대의 흐름에 맞추어 점점 다양한 구조와 기능을 수용하는 조직적 공간으로 설계 되고 있다. 건물 사용자는 이러한 다기능 다구조적 복합상업시설 안에서의 자신의 위치와 목적지를 찾기 위해 공간정보를 어느 정도 인지하고 있어야하며, 이러한 이유로 공간안내시스템의 역할은 더 이상 간과 되어서는 안 될 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 건물의 복합화 대형화 현상이 가속화되면서 그 기능은 점점 더 복잡해졌고, 이로 인하여 복잡한 공간적 구조에 대하여 사용자가 편리하게 이용할 수 있는 정보를 요구하는 문제가 발생하였다. 이 문제로 사용자의 공간정보에 대한 활용성과 연결되면서 공간정보디자인에 관한 관심도 높아졌는데 사용자가 건물을 이용하는데 있어 효과적 정보 활용성을 통한 공간안내시스템이 효과적이며, 또한 사용자의 편의성 휴대성을 고려하여 디자인과 건물 안내시스템의 사용이 증가됨으로써 공간 정보인지 효율성을 고려한 정보 디자인 공간 안내도가 복합상업시설 내의 정보디자인의 키워드로 자리 잡고 있음을 보여준다. 사용자의 공간 구조 인식과 빠른 길 찾기에 대한 만족감을 가져다주는 디자인이 사용자에게 큰 효율성을 가져다주고 있는 것이다. 또한 멀티시스템과 안내사인 기능만으로는 복합 상업 시설 전체의 구조 인지가 힘들다는 것도 한 요인이다. 사용자 역시 갈수록 복잡한 정보를 가진 안내도에 대하여 거부감을 일으키고 오히려 단순하고 보기 쉬운 안내정보를 선호하는 추세이다. 이러한 공간정보의 활용성의 필요에 따른 본 논문은 복합상업시설의 다기능 구조와 사용자간의 빠른 길찾기(Wayfinding)를 위한 효과에 주목하여 기존의 단순한 정보구조도가 아니라 사용자의 정보인지 욕구를 파악하고 추론하여, 공간정보 디자인을 함으로써 사용자가 공간에 대한 전체적인 구조인지는 물론 빠른 길찾기의 효용성과 시각적 즐거움을 주는 공간 안내시스템을 제안 하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 정보디자인의 구조와 안내도의 유형을 살펴보았으며, 아이파크몰의 공간 안내도를 사례로 분석하였다. 이러한 분석 결과를 토대로 빠른 길찾기의 정보 활용도를 높인 공간 정보 디자인을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 지금까지 사용자의 공간 이용 정보를 위한 효과적이며 효율적인 디자인적 형태와 구조를 제시하여 공간안내시스템의 효과적 활용 가능성을 추구하고자 한다.
