Product Formula for Integral and mod 2 Self-intersection Numbers

Abstract

M과 N이 연결된 폐다양체이고 P, Q가 다양체일 때 두 몰입 f:M^m → P^2m, g:N^n → Q^2n을 생각하자. 이 논문은 변양현, 이승훈 교수가 f x g : M x N → P x Q의 자기교차수 I(f x g)를 I(f), I(g) 그리고 법벡터속 ν_f, ν_g를 이용해 표현한 식에 관한 것이다. 여기서는 Z_2, 혹은 Z를 계수로 한 자기교차수에 대해서만 다룰 것이다. 사용할 것이다. 본 논문은 주로 변양현, 이승훈 교수의 원래 논문에서 생략된 세부 논의들을 제공하는 것을 목표로 한다.; Consider two immersions f : Mm ! P^2m, g : N^n ! Q^2n where M, N are connected closed manifolds. Then the thesis concerns an expression of the self intersection number I(f ×g) of the immersion f ×g : M×N ! P ×Q in terms of I(f) and I(g) together with the normal bundles f and g by Byun and Yi. We consider the intersection number with the integer coefficient Z or the mod 2 integer coefficient Z2. The thesis is mainly about providing the details which were omitted in the original work.
