지각·인지특성을 고려한 가로경관 평가에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 경관에 대한 중요성이 높아지고 있음에도 불구하고 경관관리에 있어 도시계획 수단 중의 하나인 지구단위계획에서 규정하고 있는 내용이 구체적?체계적이지 못하여 이에 대한 개선이 요구된다. 따라서 도시를 관리함에 있어 토지이용의 효율성을 높이는 계획뿐만 아니라 도시환경을 구성하는 경관계획이 서로 유기적으로 연결이 되어야 한다는 전제하에, 경관관리 측면에서 지구단위계획의 보완?개선 방향을 설정하는데 필요한 기초 자료를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구의 방법 및 과정은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 선행연구를 통해 경관평가요소를 도출하고, 심리적 특성에 따른 가로경관을 파악하기 위해 설문조사를 실시하고, 설문결과를 바탕으로 주성분 분석을 통해 가로의 인지특성을 분석한다. 둘째, 물리적 특성에 따른 가로경관을 파악하기 위해 물리적 경관평가요소에 대해 설문조사를 실시하고, 물리적 경관평가요소 이외에 가로경관을 형성하는 도시 계획적 요소를 각 가로별로 조사 분석한다. 아울러 주성분 분석을 통해 각 가로의 물리적 특성을 분석한다. 마지막으로 각 가로별 심리적?물리적 특성의 주성분 분석결과를 바탕으로 이미지-지각 분석을 하여 가로의 특성을 파악하고 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다. 위와 같이 분석한 결과에 의하면, 첫째, 피설문자들은 건대입구 주변가로에 대해 차별화된 특성을 지니지 못하고, 상업가로라는 기본적인 이미지만 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 물리적 특성에 따른 물리적 경관계획요소 평가에 따르면 도로변 가로들은 Street Furniture 조성과 옥외 광고물정비에 문제가 있으며, 내부가로는 가로수와 Street Furniture, 가로포장, 옥외광고물 정비에 문제가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 전반적으로 가로 정비개선이 필요하며, 가로시설물에 대해 도시계획 또는 도시경관 관점에서 재검토가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 이미지-지각 분석을 한 결과에 의하면, 대부분의 가로들이 현재 물리적?심리적 측면에서 문제가 있으며 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 환경 정비형 지구단위계획이 이루어진 가로는 가로의 미적?개방성 측면 및 가로의 정비 측면에서 현상유지로 평가되어 환경 정비형 지구단위계획이 실효성을 지니는 것으로 확인 되었다.; Recently the importance of landscape is higher in Urban Planning. But contents of the District Unit Planning which is one of the ways of city planning are needed to improve, because it is not detail and organized. So under the assumed premise which is to systematically link in consisting the Landscape Planning and managing the city, the purpose of this study is to set the Streetscape Planning on the District Unit Planning in order to make detailedly and widely and to suggest some lessons. For this study, near of Konkuk University's Street Landscape is examined and study procedure is followed. In the first through reviewing the former studies Landscape evaluation factors are selected, and for understanding the Streetscape according the Consciousness Characteristics Structure survey is conducted. Result of the survey is analyzed using the principle components method. In the second for understanding the Streetscape according the Physical Features, survey is conducted and the factors of Urban Planning consisting Streetscape are investigated. The results are analyzed like a same way. The last two results are used in Image-Perception analysis method for the suggestion in Streetscape problems. According to analysis results, in the first respondents are recognized that near of Konkuk University's Streetscape is just common commercial streetscape which has not something. In the second according to evaluation of Physical Streetscape Planning Factors, the load side of the streets have problems which are making Street Furnitures and reorganizing outdoor billboards. And the inner side of streets have problems which are reorganizing trees lining a street, Street Furnitures, packing loads and outdoor billboards. Over all there is needed to improvement of street reorganization and consideration of street facilities which is not linked on aspects of Urban Planning and Architect. In the third using the Image-Recognition analysis method, improvements of the street are suggested, the Streetscape Planning on the District Unit Planning is helpful on aspects of aesthetic, openness and organization of the street. This results will be used in revitalization of old built-up area planning totally considering not only aesthetic and visual aspects but also physical planning making street space.
