중등학교 음악 교육 중 오페라 감상 지도법 연구

Abstract

오페라는 제한된 학교 수업시간에서 포괄적이며 다양한 음악적 체험이 가능하다. 오페라는 음악을 중심으로 연기와 의상, 무대 미술, 조명 등 여러 예술 장르가 복합적으로 조화된 종합예술로서 예술의 전 분야를 망라하고, 어느 누구에게나 흥미를 갖게 할 만한 요소들을 고루 갖추고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 음악교육에서 오페라 감상학습의 중요성에 대해 고찰 하고, 중등학교 음악교과서에 수록된 오페라를 시대별, 교과서별로 구분하여 분석한 후 수업에서의 적용방법을 제안했다. 아울러 분석과정에서 발견되는 문제점을 정리하였다. 마지막으로 다양한 음악 교육적 효과를 기대할 수 있는 학습지도 계획안을 작성했다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음악교과서에 제시된 오페라 곡에는 작품에 대한 설명이나, 쓰여 지게 된 배경, 작곡가에 대한 설명이 없이 출처와 악곡의 내용만 을 수록하고 있다. 둘째, 교과서의 대부분이 오페라를 전체 작품으로 여기는 것이 아니라 아리아 위주로 수록하고 있다. 셋째, 대부분의 작품들이 어느 한 특정시대에 국한되어 있다. 넷째, 교과서에 수록된 오페라 악보 중에서 조옮김이 된 곡이 있다. 제재곡 뿐만 아니라 감상곡으로 제시된 곡에서도 조옮김이 된 곡이 발견되고 있다. 다섯째, 교과서에 수록된 오페라 악보가 주선율만 제시 되어있기 때문 에 가사(원어 또는 한글)를 생략하게 되면 이것이 서곡인지 아 리아인지 전주곡인지 구분할 수가 없게 된다. 여섯째, 수록된 오페라 곡들 중에서 오페라의 제목이 없이 아리아 곡만을 설명하는 경우나 제재곡으로 제시된 악보가 있다. 위의 결과에서 알 수 있듯이 오페라의 감상 수업에 교과서가 역할을 제대로 하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 오페라의 효과적인 수업을 위해서 오페라의 공연 실황을 담은 DVD자료를 활용하도록 하여 실제 공연의 여러 가지를 보고 들으면서 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 하였으며, 또한 한 가지의 자료로 한가지의 느낌만 갖는 것이 아니라 2개 이상의 것을 감상하도록 하여 다양한 분위기를 접할 수 있도록 하였다. 이렇게 하여 오페라를 더욱 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 하였으며 다양한 적용 방법들을 제시하여 학생들이 더욱 흥미를 갖도록 하여야 할 것이다. 수업시간에 오페라의 감동이 잘 전달될 수 있다면 교육적 효과는 물론, 우리나라의 음악 발전과 더불어 특히 오페라에 대한 관심과 발전으로 확대될 수 있을 것이다. 그리고 음악을 통한 심미적 경험과 바람직한 가치관을 확립시키는 데에도 이바지할 수 있을 것이다.; Opera gives students an opportunity to feel comprehensive and various experiences of music in the limited class of school. Opera in the center of music is a synthetic art that complexly harmonizes all kinds of artistic genres such as performance and costume, stage and art, and illumination etc, includes all the fields of art, and has enough elements that enables everyone to get interested in. Hereupon, this study first considered the importance of appreciating opera in music education and suggested how to apply it to the class after having separated and analyzed the operas in the music books of secondary school into periods and each textbook. In addition, the problems were arranged that had been found in the process of analysis. Last, learning teaching plan was made that would be expect the various musical effects. The conclusion of this study is as follows. First, operas that are offered in the music textbooks only contain the origin and contents of a musical piece without explaining composers, works, and backgrounds written by composers. Second, most of music textbooks contain operas on the center of a ariawithout regarding operas as the whole works. Third, most of works are limited in the certain period. Fourth, there are pieces of music transposed in the operas of the textbooks. That is, they are discovered in not only the material songs but also the appreciating sons in the textbooks. Fifth, as the opera score contained in the textbook is indicative of a main melody, it is very difficult to distinguish whether it is a prelude or an aria without the words (in the original word or Korean language). Sixth, there are operas of the textbook that only explain an aria without titles of operas and are also scores expressed as material songs. In conclusion, the textbook don't play a role in the class of appreciating opera. Therefore, the DVD as a material was used that contained the live performance of an opera for the effective class of opera. By seeing the live performance, it was much easier for students to understand the various situations of an opera and to feel the variety of the atmosphere through appreciating more than two materials. Like this, the variety of practical ways in the class of opera will be suggested in order to make students easily understand and be much interested in the opera. If an impression of opera can be delivered well in the class, it will be expanded to the educational effects as well as the development of our music, especially the interests and development of opera. And it is contributed as a maker that can establish a desirable standard for life and aesthetic experience through music.
