군 정보보호 관리자를 위한 전자수행지원시스템(EPSS) 프로토타입 개발

Abstract

정보보호 관리자는 보안정책 수립, 위험 분석, 보안대책 실행, 보안대책 관리 등의 업무를 수행한다. 정보보호 관리자에게는 업무 수행을 위해서는 추론, 진단, 의사결정, 자원 활용능력, 문제해결능력, 대인관계능력 등 다양한 능력이 요구된다. 또한, 군 특성상 직무가 빠르게 바뀌고 신규 채용률이 높다. 그러므로, 군 정보보호 관리자를 위한 수행 지원이 필요하다. 수행과 학습을 지원하는 컴퓨터 기반의 도구인 전자수행지원시스템(EPSS)은 이상적인 선택이 될 수 있다. 그러나, 지금까지 군 정보보호 관리자를 위한 EPSS에 대한 연구는 활발하게 이루어 지지 못했다. 본 연구의 목적은 군 정보보호 관리자를 위한 EPSS에 필요한 지식과 기능을 도출하여 프로토타입을 개발하는 것이다. 정보보호 관리자에게 필요한 지식과 기능을 도출하기 위해 문헌분석을 실시하였다. 인터뷰 결과를 분석하여 군 정보보호 관리자를 위한 EPSS에 포함되어야 하는 기능을 도출하였다. 인터뷰는 군 정보보호 관리자와 상급관리자를 대상으로 선정하였다. EPSS 사례 분석 결과와 인터뷰 결과를 종합하여 EPSS 개발 전략을 도출하고, 프로토타입을 개발하였다. 개발된 EPSS는 군 정보보호 관리자의 핵심 기능을 모니터링, 위험관리, 정보공유, 침해사고 대응, 보고서의 5개 기능으로 구분하였다. 각 기능별로 필요한 정보베이스, 조언시스템, 학습경험, 도구를 구체적으로 설계하였다. 설계를 바탕으로 군 정보보호 관리자를 위한 EPSS 프로토타입을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서는 군 정보보호 관리자의 수행을 분석하여 EPSS 프로토 타입을 개발하였으나, 다음과 같은 사항은 후속연구를 통해 지속적으로 연구되고, 보완되어야 할 것이다. 첫째, 개발된 프로토타입이 정보보호 관리자들의 업무 수행을 지원하는지 검토해 보아야 한다. 둘째, 업무 현장에서 사용하기 위해서는 보다 완성도 있는 개발이 필요하다.; Information Security Managers perform work related to the establishment of security policy, risk analysis, run security measures, and security management. Information Security Managers are required to have reasoning, diagnosis and decision-making, problem solving and interpersonal relationship skills, in addition to being able to utilize of resources, Also, it is characteristic of the Army to have a high rate of recruitment and rapidly change the assignment of its employees. Therefore, support for Information Security Managers' performance is required. Use of electronic performance support systems (EPSS), a computer-based tool which supports performance and learning is the ideal method. However, there has been a lack of thorough studies on EPSS for Information Security Managers in the Army. The purpose of this study is to gain needed knowledge and verify the skills required for the development of an EPSS prototype for Army Information Security Managers. To do this, this study first analyzed literature on this subject. Furthermore, after interviewing Republic of Korea Army Information Security Managers and Senior Managers, as well as analyzing the results of these interviews, this study identified what capabilities should be included in the EPSS. Through the result of this analysis,?comprehensive EPSS development strategies were formulated to create a prototype. The proposed EPSS for Army Information Security Managers included 5 distinct and key capabilities: monitoring, risk management, information sharing, incident response infringement, and reports. Each feature needed a database, advice system, learning experience, and specifically designed tools. Based on the design, an EPSS prototype for Army Information Security Managers was developed. In this study, an EPSS prototype was developed from analysis of Army Information Security Managers' performance, but the following requires further study. First, research must be conducted on developing a prototype to support the work of the Information Security Managers. Second, in order to use this system in the workplace, the current system requires greater development.
