전통 금태칠기를 이용한 잔(盞)의 조형연구

Abstract

우리가 흔히 사용하는 잔은 크기나 모양에 따라 그 쓰임새가 다르지만 단순히 그릇이라는 물리적 의미를 넘어 시대의 변천에 따른 과학문명의 발달로 인간의 생활을 보다 윤택하고 편리하도록 변모시켜 왔다. 생활이 풍요로워지면서 우리의 식생활과 가장 밀접한 관계를 맺고 있는 잔도 식생활 문화의 발전과 더불어 다양한 변화를 거듭해가고 있다. 또한, 재료 면에 있어서도 깨지기 쉽고 약한 도자기나 유리보다 관리가 쉽고 편한 금속제 제품을 발전시켜 나갈 필요가 있다. 따라서 작품제작에 있어서 모티브로 한 고려청자 잔의 형태에서 옛 장인들의 혼이 살아 숨쉬고 있는 듯한 장인정신과 삶의 숨결을 느낄 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 과거 선조들이 최고의 도장재료도 사용했던 전통공예기법인 금태칠기와 고려시대 잔의 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 친환경적인 웰빙 잔을 제작하였다.; While the use of the glass we usuallyuse are various depending on its size and shape, it has changed in accord with the advancement of science so as to make the cultural life of humankind bountiful and convenient having more than the materialistic meaning attached to it as a container. As life gets richer, the glass closely associated with our dietary life is undergoing various changes along with the advancement of dietary life culture. Also, it is necessary to develop the product made of metal which is easy and simple to maintain, rather than developing porcelain or glass which is easy to be broken. We can feel the artisan spirit and breath of life in the form of Koryeo porcelain glasses with certain motives as though in them the souls of old artisans are lively. In this study I have created eco-friendly glasses based on the Keum Tae Lacquer Wares Techniques, a traditional ceramic technique used as the best material for ceramics by our ancestors and the theories of Koryeo ceramics.
