Abstract
글로벌 경쟁이 심화되는 세계화의 질서에서 NGO의 사회공익 활동이 급증하며 기업에 사회적 책임을 강하게 압박하고 있다. 기업과 NGO 관계는 갈등과 대립에서 사회공익을 위한 파트너십으로 발전되는 것이 글로벌 동향이다. 시민의 권익을 옹호하는 활동과 시민들이 일상생활에서 겪는 불안, 불편, 불쾌 등 각종 사회문제들을 해결하는데 기업이 NGO를 지원하거나 NGO와 공조하는 일이 새로운 기업 사회공헌 문화로 자리 잡고 있다. 사회공헌 활동은 기업의 주요 경영활동 가운데 하나가 되었다. 따라서 기업과 비영리조직의 관계는 전통적인 기부자와 수혜자라는 불평등한 관계 혹은 정치적 적대관계가 존재하는 갈등․ 대립의 관계를 넘어 상호간의 이익을 추구하는 전략적인 협력관계로 발전하고 있다. 국내기업 중 비교적 높은 평가를 받고 있는 유한킴벌리와 아름다운 재단의 기업-NGO 협력관계 사례에 대한 문헌자료를 바탕으로 활동 현황을 고찰해 보았으며, 각각의 사례가 갖고 있는 장점과 과제에 대해 정리해 보았다. 외국과 국내의 CSR 사례연구를 통해서 국내 기업의 사회공헌활동의 과제를 여섯 가지(①NGO 역할강화를 위한 인프라 구축, ②기업과 NGO의 목적 동일성, ③전문 인력 육성, ④NGO 재정지원의 다양화, ⑤기업과 NGO의 협력관계의 다양화, ⑥중소기업의 사회공헌활동 활성화)로 정리하여 제시하였다. 그 중에서도 상대적으로 열악한 중소기업의 사회공헌활동 활성화, CSR 전문 인력 확보, NGO의 재정지원 경로의 다양화가 가장 시급한 과제라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 국내의 기업과 NGO 단체의 협력관계가 활발히 진행되고 있는 가운데 국내․ 외 사례를 분석해 보고 과제를 도출해 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.| NGO's social activities for public interests have been increased as global competition has got deepened. Social responsibility of corporations have been oppressed strongly. The relation between corporation and NGOs have developed into partnership for public interests from the previous cold conflicts and oppositions' one, which make a new global trend. It is getting a new corporations' social contributing culture to support NGOs in order to solve diverse social issues such as fear, unpleasant feeling, and discomfort that citizens may experience and citizens' interests seeking activities. Public contribution activities became one of the major corporate managerial activities. Therefore, the relation between corporations and non-profit organizations is being developed into mutual-interest seeking strategic cooperative relation over conflict and opposition which unfair relation or political relation exist. Based on documents on Yuhan Kimberly and Beautiful Fund-NGO cooperative relation which are relatively appreciated rather good, their present activities were observed. The merits and issues in each case had were summarized in this study. As a result of overseas and domestic CSR case studies, the tasks of domestic corporations' social contribution activities were classified into six categories. ① Infrastructure construction to strengthen NGO roles ② Objective identity of corporations and NGO ③ Professional labor force foster ④ Diversification of NGO financial support methods ⑤ Cooperative relation between corporations and NGOs. ⑥ Activation of SME's social contribution activity. Among these, activation of social contributing activity of relatively week SME, CSR professional labor force acquisition, and diversification of NGO financial support methods are considered the most pressing issues to be settled. This study analyzed domestic cases and tried to find prospective solutions for drawn issues while the relation between NGO groups and domestic corporations are actively being built.; NGO's social activities for public interests have been increased as global competition has got deepened.
