발표 활동의 비언어적 표현 특징과 교육 방법

Abstract

본 연구는 의사소통의 영역에서 비언어적 의사소통이 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있음에도 불구하고, 언어적 의사소통에 비해 관심을 적게 받고 있다는 사실에서 출발한다. 화법교육은 음성 언어를 통한 의사소통의 여러 국면을 균형적으로 다루어야 하지만, 현행 학교교육에서 비언어적 의사소통의 영역에 대한 관심은 미미하다. 또한 화법교육은 구체적이고 실제적인 이론의 부재로 말하기․ 듣기 활동의 수행에 관한 교육방법론이 연구되어야 할 필요성이 있다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 발표 활동이 지니는 비언어적 표현의 특징을 분석하고 그것을 교육하는 방법을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 먼저 2장에서는 비언어적 의사소통의 특성과 유형, 기능 등을 알아보았다. 비언어적 의사소통은 ‘개념적 의미’를 통한 의사소통의 영역인 언어적 의사소통을 제외한 영역이다. 본고에서는 비언어적 의사소통의 유형을 각각 부차 언어, 신체 언어, 상황 언어로 나누어 유형화하였다. 비언어적 의사소통은 언어적 의미를 보충할 뿐만 아니라, 화자와 청자간의 상호작용도를 제고하고, 화자의 감정을 직접적으로 드러내는 기능을 한다. 또한 발표 활동은 실생활에서 그 필요성이 점점 증대되고 있으며, 사전 준비를 통해 이루어지는 담화 유형으로 비언어적 표현 교육에 용이하다. 3장에서는 발표 활동 수행 자료를 분석하여 비언어적 표현 양상의 특성과 기능 등을 확인하였다. 발표 활동의 부차 언어 분석은 음절 수, 발화 시간, 발화 속도, 휴지(Pause) 및 담화 표지 사용, 강세 사용, 발화 실수, 말끌림 등에 대해서 이루어졌다. 신체 언어 분석은 시선, 손동작, 표정, 몸 움직임, 얼굴 움직임 등에 대해서 이루어졌고, 상황 언어는 옷차림에 대해 분석하였다. 비언어적 표현의 사용은 발표에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 표지와 부정적인 영향을 미치는 표지로 나누어졌다. 4장에서는 비언어적 표현의 교육 방법을 연구하였다. 비언어적 표현의 교육에 필요한 지식은 선언적 지식과 절차적 지식으로 구분할 수 있으며, 교육 내용은 국어과 교육과정의 내용 제시 방식인 지식, 기능, 맥락으로 구분하여 제시하였다. 교수-학습 방법은 반성적 평가법을 통해 제시하였다.| Nonverbal communication become less an object of attention than verbal communication even though it is such an important aspect to communication in the area of communication. So this study has views on these facts. Speech education have to handle various aspects communication by vocal language. But interest about area of nonverbal communication is imperceptible in school education. And speech education is necessary to research teaching methods about performing of oral ․ listening communication because of absence of specific theories. To achieve this, the object of this study is to analyze and educate characteristics of nonverbal communication in presentation. In chapter 2, this study look at the characteristics, types, functions of nonverbal communication. Nonverbal communication is the area except verbal communication that area of communication by 'conceptual mean'. In this study, types of nonverbal communication are categorized paralanguage, body language, situation language of each. Nonverbal communication improves that interaction between speaker and audience and expresses emotion of speaker directly as well as eke out linguistic means. Also, there is a growing need for presentation. And it is easy because it can advance preparation in education. In chapter 3, this study look at characteristics and functions of nonverbal expression with analysis data on presentation. Paralanguage analysis for presentation is composed syllabic the number, spoken time, spoken speed, pause, to use discourse marker, to use stress, spoken mistake and dragged speech. Analysis for body language is composed attention, hand movement, expression, body movement and face movement. Situation language analyzes about dress for presentation. To use nonverbal expression is divided into positive index and negative index for presentation. In chapter 4, I study teaching method for nonverbal expression. Equipped knowledge for a nonverbal expression education is composed declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge. And teaching contents subdivide into knowledge, function and contents of the language curriculum.
