- Abstract
- VE(Value engineering) had been developed as a way to reduce costs and currently it has been used to make a change of the design, production, distribution and servicing of all business activities. Thus, Value Engineering has been primarily used for cost innovation in the enterprise and QFCD (Cost-based Quality Function Deployment) which is QFD applying to Product Development with VE had been suggested to increase the utilization of these Value Engineering . But it has a probability that QFCD may draw an unrealistic conclusion due to calculation of the subjective importance of quality attributes of the component and cost estimating using the parts contributiveness. Therefore, in order to resolve these problems, this study suggested how to estimate realistic costs through drawing the direction and
calculation of the objective importance of quality attributes using AHP, Limiting Probability, Consistency check and Inconsistency check being applied to Roof Matrix. So this method can be effectively used to reduce development costs and product cost considering quality and cost.
