dc.description.abstract | Silver nanowires have been widely used for conductive, material such as transparent conductive film, paste for pattering substrate in the electronic devices. We have synthesize silver nanowires with small diameter and long length by controlling several factors. For this reason, we have controlled initial temperature, molecular weight of poly(vinyl)pryrrolidone(PVP), injection rate of silver nitrate to synthesize silver nanowires with a wide range of diameter and length. In the parameters, initial temperature was considered to affect size of silver nano seeds at initial step. We produced silver nanowires with smaller diameter with decrease in initial temperature. Changing molecular weight of poly(vinyl)pyrrolidone from 58,000g/mol to 1,300,000g/mol was dedicated to produce long silver nanowires with high aspect ratio. As injection rate of silver nitrate solution was controlled, we have obtained small silver nanowires with diameter(=40nm) and length (=20㎛). In order to improve the performance in application, we have prepared the ink with two types of silver nanowires and paste with silver nanowire and particles. Ink for transparent conductive film has been prepared using a mixture which was composite of small silver nanowires and a small amount of long silver nanowires.(over 300㎛) Mixed ink resulted in transmittance of 80% and resistivity of 10Ω/□. For conductive pattering paste, silver nanowires were added to nanoparticles to get lower resistance. Silver nanowires have been promising to be alternative to existing metallic ink and paste. | - |
