대중가요와의 상호텍스트성을 활용한 애정시조 교육 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 시조문학이 역사적 정통성과 뛰어난 문학적 가치를 지니고 있음에도 불구하고 현장 수업에서 그 의의가 제대로 전해지지 않는 상황으로부터 문제의식을 가지고 학습자와 시조 간 유리된 간격을 좁히기 위해 기획되었다. 그리하여 학습자들에게 친숙한 대중가요를 매체로 삼아 시조와 대중가요의 상호텍스트성을 파악하여 교육한다면 시조에 대한 부담을 덜 수 있으리라는 생각에 대중가요를 비교 매체로 선정하였다. 또한 다양한 시조의 갈래 중 애정이란 인간 보편적 감정이기에 애정시조의 내용은 시대와 지역, 계층 고하를 막론하고 누구나 쉽게 공감할 수 있는 소재가 된다. 따라서 대중가요와 함께 애정시조를 연구 대상으로 삼아 연구를 진행하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 애정시조와 대중가요의 상호텍스트성을 파악하고 이를 활용한 교수-학습 방안을 기획하기 위해 우선 상호텍스트성에 대한 이론적 배경을 조사하였다. 또한 문학 교육에 활용되는 텍스트로서 대중가요가 지니고 있는 문학적 위상 역시 파악하였다. 이에 따라 정서, 표현, 발상, 소통 구조의 측면에서 애정시조와 대중가요가 지니고 있는 상호텍스트성을 각각의 작품을 대응시키며 비교·분석하였고 이를 통해 두 텍스트는 서로 상호텍스트성을 지니고 있으며 문학교육에서 무리 없이 활용할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이에 따라 실제적인 애정시조 교수-학습 방안을 구상하기 위해 내용 양상, 외적 형태, 표현 기법을 기준으로 애정시조의 장르적 지식을 제시하였으며 대중가요를 활용한 교수-학습 방안이 어떠한 교육적 의의가 있는지 인간 보편적 심성, 애정 모티프가 지니고 있는 역사성 이라는 두 측면으로 나누어 학습 목표를 정리하였다. 이를 토대로 정서, 형식, 표현이라는 세 기준에 따라 교과서 내용 체계를 기획하였다. 본 연구의 의의는 첫째, 대중가요와 연계한 그간의 문학 교수-학습 수업에 비해 예시로 든 대중가요가 비교적 최신의 것이라는 점. 둘째, 그렇기에 학습자들로 하여금 어려운 시조 수업을 조금이라도 더 쉽게 느끼게 만들 수 있다는 점으로 볼 수 있다. 그러나 한계 역시 드러나는데 첫째로, 시간이 지나감에 따라 본고에서 애정시조와의 비교를 위해 수록한 대중가요 텍스트 역시 학습자들로부터 멀어져 가며 흥미 유발에 실패할 수 있으리라는 점. 둘째로, 시조 전반의 교수-학습방법이 아닌 애정시조에 한정된 연구이기에 고전 운문, 산문 및 기타 전반을 다루는 교과과정 안에서 그 효용이 미비할 수 있다는 점. 셋째, 구성한 학습 방안을 실제로 활용해 볼 기회가 없었기에 그 효용성을 입증할 수 없다는 점이 한계로 지적될 만하다. 이후 끊임없이 대중가요뿐만 아니라 시조 교육 및 감상에 도움이 될 만한 상호텍스트적인 매체에 대한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이며 다양한 내용의 애정시조가 교과서에 수록되며 지루하지 않게 선조들의 정서와 생활에 공감할 수 있는 국어수업이 진행되도록 노력해야 할 것이다. | Sijo literature has historical traditionality and an excellent literary values. Although, we don't impart the literary values to students on actual class. This Study has awareness of a problem. This Study hope that students become close with Sijo literature. Students are familiar with popular songs. It is based on popular songs. Students would feel close Sijo literature, when we teach them to use Sijo literature and popular songs's Intertextuality. So we choose popular songs to compare with Sijo. Furthermore, love is one of Sijo and popular sentiment. People (beyond times, area, social status) can sympathize with Love-sijo. Thus, we will study about popular songs and Love-sijo. This study researches theoretical background of popular songs and Love-sijo's intertextuality to make teaching and learning method. Thus, we understand literary statue of popular songs in literature education text. We compare and analyze Love-sijo and popular song's intertextuality in sentiment, expression, idea, communication. Then, we realize that Love-sijo and popular songs have intertextuality. We can use this texts in literature education. We propose Love-sijo's generic knowledge on content, external shape, technique of expression to make actual teaching and learning method of Love-sijo. We make system of content of textbook to include Korean classic literary textbook of highschool. Then, we study that educational value of teaching and learning method using popular songs. It has two of views popular sentiment and historicity of love motif. First, this study has the latest popular songs compared with the other studies. Second, it makes students to feel easily lecture of Sijo. But, it has limits too. First, it has possibility that students would not interested in popular songs on this study, when as time goes by. Second, it would not have utility in educational curriculum of classic poems, classic novels. Lastly, it can not prove ability because it has not opportunity of using this. We should study interactive text of popular songs and Sijo education. It should be included various contents of Love-sijo in textbook.
