Abstract
This paper has been proposed the modeling technique for the Monorail of safety using multi body dynamics. The analysis model is built by DAFUL which is commercial multi-flexible body dynamics analysis software. Our purpose of this research is to find impacts caused by the dynamics factor, just as contact force, wind force, the position of gravity center and smooth curve of rail. Also, the impact of driving speed is included within our considered area. Based on the analysis result, we found that the force acting on the hydraulic cylinder has exceeded the maximum allowable value. In order to improve the performance of the monorail, two modification methods have been proposed. One is lower mass center method and the other one is using smooth curve rail method.
