- Abstract
- This article discusses the relationship between work-family conflict and work engagement, as well as the relationship between family-work conflict and work engagement. Results suggested that the higher the work-family conflict, the lower the work engagement, the higher the family-work conflict, the lower the work engagement. Different from previous researches, in this study, the moderating effects of self-efficacy and family supportive supervisor behaviors have also been examined. Results indicated that the moderating effect of self-efficacy on relationship between work-family conflict and work engagement is significant, while not significant on relationship between family-work conflict and work engagement. And there is a significant moderating effect of family supportive supervisor behaviors on relationship between family-work conflict and work engagement, while not significant on relationship between work-family conflict and work engagement.
