Abstract
Recently, Product-Service System(PSS) is a rising paradigm that enables integration between products and services offering. Also, academic interests for product-service design using the house of quality (HOQ) have been emerged. the engineering characteristics of the HOQ are usually extracted by experts. However, as the new technologies were merged, it was difficult to find the optimum expert for extracting the engineering characteristics in the fusion technology. Therefore, this paper applies the topic modeling technique using patent data to extract the engineering characteristics which considers not only products features but also services characteristics. Also, a case study demonstrates the usefulness of our approach with augmented reality-head mounted display. It was conducted to make the HOQ with distinct four steps. First, the customer needs were collected through the latest device review from web site and grouped into the representative customer needs by AHP. Second, the engineering characteristics of the augmented reality-head mounted display were extracted by using the US patent data of augmented reality head mounted display through the topic modeling technique. Third, the correlation degree of product - service characteristics was drawn by using the extracted topic’s cosine similarity. Finally, the relationship matrix of customer needs and engineering characteristics was filled with experts. After which we suggest product-service, which includes core technologies by business area from HOQ. This paper are appeared the two main advantage. The First advantage of this research paper is that it can provide the product-service , which includes core technologies by business area. The core technologies by business area are utilized for the early phase in R&D planning. The second advantage of this research is that the PSS design framework are made by patent data in the fusion technology field that is difficult to find experts. Also, a result of the application case and our method contributes to constructing the R&D roadmap in the emerging technology field.|최근에 학계와 산업계에서 많이 주목하고 있는 PSS(Product-Service System)는 제품과 서비스를 통합하는 새로운 비즈니스 패러다임이다. 이러한 PSS 분야 중 HOQ(House of Quality)를 활용한 PSS 설계에 대한 연구는 증가하고 있다. HOQ를 진행하는 방법 중 대부분의 단계는 전문가에 의해 주로 수행된다(이상복 & 신동설, 2008). 그러나, 다양한 기술을 복합적으로 활용하는 융합기술의 경우에는 적합한 전문가의 확보가 어려우며, 이는 HOQ 방법의 활용에 한계를 나타내고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 HOQ모형의 설계특성 도출 단계에서 특허정보와 토픽모델링을 활용하여, 각 비즈니스 영역에 따른 제품의 핵심기술을 도출할 수 있는 접근법을 제시하였다. 또한, 융합기술분야인 증강현실 HMD 장치에 대한 사례연구를 해봄으로써 제안된 접근법의 활용가능성을 확인하였다. 제안된 접근법은 다음과 같이 진행된다. 먼저 해당 제품의 고객리뷰로부터 고객요구사항을 도출하고 이에 대한 상대적 중요도를 구한다. 다음으로 특허정보에 토픽모델링을 적용하여 제품기술특성과 서비스 특성을 도출하고 도출된 제품과 서비스 특성간의 상관관계를 유사도 계수로 나타낸다. 마지막으로, 도출된 정보를 바탕으로 HOQ 방법을 수행하여 비즈니스 영역별 핵심기술들을 도출한다. 제안된 접근법을 통해 본 연구에서는 증강현실 HMD 장치에 대해 사례연구를 진행하였다. 고객요구사항으로는 총 8개의 요구사항이 도출되었고 9개의 제품기술특성과 5개의 서비스 특성인 총 14개의 설계특성이 도출되었다. 이후, HOQ를 수행하여 최종적으로 5가지 비즈니스 영역에 따른 핵심기술들을 도출하였다. 이러한 증강현실분야의 사례연구는 증강현실분야의 기존 기술뿐만 아니라 신기술을 포함하여 각 비즈니스 영역별 적합한 기술들을 결합한 결과를 나타낸데 의의가 있다. 향후, 증강현실분야의 기술동향분석 혹은 기술로드맵 작성 시 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. 본 연구에서는 HOQ에 특허정보를 적용하여 PSS 설계 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 이러한 프레임워크는 고객요구사항을 반영하여 R&D의 초기 개발 단계에 활용될 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 전문가를 확보하기 힘든 융합 기술 분야에서 유용하게 활용될 것으로 기대된다.; Recently, Product-Service System(PSS) is a rising paradigm that enables integration between products and services offering.
