Abstract
This study was performed for 12 weeks with 40 women participated in the private ballet academy in Seoul by dividing them into the control group and the experimental group for the purpose of identifying the influence of the ballet program applied with Tabata exercise on the vascular health of the middle aged women. For the control group, the existing ballet program was performed with the exercise intensity of mild, medium and high for 4 weeks each, and for the experimental group, the ballet program with increased intensity of muscular strength exercise by applying Tabata exercise was performed for the same period as the control group. Further, the sample group was divided into high-risk group, medium risk group and low risk group according to the vascular health index vs. age, and the values after the program were compared. The values of the experimental group and the control group before and after the program were analyzed through t-test. Through this study, following results were drawn. First, in both control group that the ballet program was performed for 12 weeks and the experimental group that the ballet program applied with Tabata exercise for same period, the vascular health index of the middle aged women was improved statistically significantly. Second, out of the 3 factors of cardiac output intensity, vascular elasticity and remained blood volume (RBD), which composed the vascular health index, the program performed in this study improved the vascular elasticity and remained blood volume and no statistically significant change was found in the cardiac output intensity. Third. when the sample group is divided into high risk group, medium risk group and low risk group according to the vascular health index vs. age, the vascular health index was improved significantly in the high risk group and the medium risk group of both experimental group and the control group. Fourth, in the ballet exercise method applied with Tabata exercise, the vascular health index of the middle aged women was improved greatly compared to the existing ballet program and the vascular elasticity and the remained blood volume also showed the more improved value. Particularly, the improvement of the vascular elasticity in the medium risk group was represented statistically significant only in the experimental group applied with Tabata exercise, through which the ballet applied with Tabata exercise was represented to have more positive influence on the vascular health index of the middle aged women compared to existing ballet program As recently the menu is westernized rapidly and the dining-out culture is routinized, Red light turns on for the vascular health of Korean. In 2017 Korean death statistics, 3 major causes of death are the cancer, heart disease and the cerebrovascular disease and more than 30% of the population are died by the cardiovascular disease. Among them, particularly in case of middle aged women, as the cardiovascular disease in the women is increased rapidly by the sudden decrease of the estrogen, which played the role of gatekeeper for the vascular health, after the menopause, the female mortality rate is represented higher than the male. In addition, not only the vascular health but also slow metabolism and the reduction of muscular tension are closely related to the weight increase of the middle aged women and cause the sense of loss and lack of self-confidence affecting their thniking and behavior, social activities, etc. This study could observe that the ballet program, which uses every muscle in the whole body and the core muscles in balance, influences positively on the vascular health and it was confirmed that particularly, when it is performed with high-intensity intermittent method by applying the Tabata exercise, the positive influence becomes greater. In future, the attempt to maximize the effect of exercise by varying the program according to the target should be made continuously.; 향후에는 대상에 따라 프로그램을 다르게 하여 운동의 효과를 극대화시키는 시도가 지속적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다.| This study was performed for 12 weeks with 40 women participated in the private ballet academy in Seoul by dividing them into the control group and the experimental group for the purpose of identifying the influence of the ballet program applied with Tabata exercise on the vascular health of the middle aged women.
