남북 국어 교과 전문용어의 조어 분석－문학 용어를 중심으로－

Abstract

이 연구는 남북 국어 교과 전문용어를 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 남북 교과의 전문용어를 분석하여 조어 특징을 밝히는 이 연구는, 궁극적으로 남북 용어의 통합안을 마련하여 용어를 표준화하고 남북 통합 교육과정의 효율성을 도모하기 위한 것이다. 이러한 최종 목표를 위하여 이 연구에서는 국어 교과의 문학 용어를 중심으로 조어 분석을 시도해 보았다. 남북 전문용어의 조어 분석은 용어의 형성 방식과 유형을 제공하므로 남북 전문용어의 통합에 객관적인 기준을 제시해 줄 수 있다. 문학 분야의 남북 전문용어는 일반적으로 1~2개의 조어 단위가 결합하여 용어를 형성하였고, 1개 조어 단위와 2개 조어 단위로 구성된 전문용어가 전체 분포의 88.7%를 차지하였다. AA(Aa)형은 1개 조어 단위로 구성된 용어가 가장 높은 빈도를 보였고, AB형은 2개 조어 단위로 구성된 용어가 가장 높은 빈도를 나타냈다. 또한 1~2음절로 구성된 조어 단위가 다른 조어 단위와 결합하여 새로운 전문용어를 생산해 내고 있었다. 남측과 북측 모두 한자어의 사용이 월등히 높았다. 그러나 외래어와 고유어 사용에서 약간의 차이를 보였는데, 남측은 북측보다 외래어를 더 많이 사용하고 북측은 남측보다 고유어를 더 선호하는 것으로 분석되었다. The aim of this study is to analyze the terminology of North Korea and South Korea. Based on this analysis, we would like to expand this knowledge into integrating the terminology of North Korea and the terminology of South Korea.Prior to the full-scale discussion, the criteria for Word-formation of terminology was prepared. To collect the terms of Literatures, Texts and textbooks of South Korea and North Korea were analyzed. We recruited 726 terms of Literatures. Then we analyzed the terminology data. In the field of Literatures, there are 496 identical terms (AA) between the North and South Korea terminologies, 65 terms of almost identical form with orthographic differences (Aa) and 165 different terms (AB). Terminology of North and South Korea used many Chinese characters.Each specialized field has a core analysis unit in the formation of advanced terminology. This analysis unit plays a central role in the formation of terminology and shows high productivity. When integrating terminology in South Korea and North Korea, this feature should be considered as a priority.
