세 권의 『하늘과 바람과 별과 詩』

Abstract

첫 번째 『하늘과 바람과 별과 詩』는 윤동주가 연희전문학교 졸업반 때 자신의 시편 가운데 열여덟 편을 정선하고 마지막에 1941년 11월 20일 날짜로 시집의 서문을 아름다운 시로 써서 열아홉 편으로 만들어 원고지에 정서해 묶은 것이다. 그러니까 첫 번째 『하늘과 바람과 별과 詩』는 발간되지는 않았지만, 1941년 11~12월에 완성된 윤동주 자선 친필 시고인 셈이다. 그리고 윤동주가 정병욱에게 준 원본이 남아, 훗날 일반에게 공개되어 친필시고전집의 자양이 되었다. 이어서 1947년 2월 13일 경향신문에 정지용의 소개 글과 함께 윤동주의 「쉽게 씌어진 詩」가 해방 후 최초로 발표되었고, 1948년 1월에는 유고 31편을 모아 정지용 서문과 강처중 발문과 유영의 추도시를 붙여 『하늘과 바람과 별과 詩』를 정음사에서 간행하였다. 이것이 두 번째 『하늘과 바람과 별과 詩』이다. 이 시집의 표지는 파란색으로 더 유명하지만 초간본 겉표지는 사실 갈색이었다. 이후 1948년 3월에 초판본 1,000부가 파란색 표지로 출간되었다. 이후 1948년 12월 누이 윤혜원이 윤동주의 습작 노트를 가지고 고향에서 서울로 이주하였다. 1955년 2월에는 윤동주 10주기를 기념하여 습작 노트에 실렸던 작품들을 보태 89편의 시와 4편의 산문을 엮어 『하늘과 바람과 별과 詩』를 정음사에서 다시 펴낸다. 이때 초판본에 실렸던 정지용의 서문과 강처중의 발문은 제외된다. 편집은 정병욱의 자문을 받아 윤일주가 하고 표지화를 김환기가 담당하였다. 이것이 세 번째 『하늘과 바람과 별과 詩』이다. 1935년 시문학사에서 출간된 『정지용시집』 편제를 따른 그 시집이다. 이러한 텍스트의 역사 안으로 제국과 식민, 기억과 망각, 해방과 분단과 전쟁의 흔적이 흘러간다. 모든 텍스트가 결국 역사적인 산물이며, 우리는 텍스트의 속살과 맥락과 구성까지 면밀히 들여다보아야 하는 까닭이 여기에 있다.The first version of Sky, Wind, Stars and Poem is a bundle of squared manuscript papers, fair copies of 18 poems carefully selected by himself from his works when he graduated Yonhui college and a forward in the form of poem written in November 20, 1941. So, the first version was not published, however, it is a handwritten draft of poems selected by the poet, completed around November and December 1941. And it has become the source of the complete works handwritten by the author because the original manuscripts given to Jeong, Byung-wook was preserved.Then, after the liberation from Japan, Yoon, Dong-ju’s ‘Easily Written Poem’ was published for the first time in Kyunghyang Newspaper with the introduction by Jeong, Ji-yong in February 13, 1947. And Jeongum publishing company collected 31 poems after his death and published Sky, Wind, Stars and Poem with a forward by Jeong, Ji-yong, an epilogue by Kang, Cheo-joong and a lamentation poem by Yoo, Young in January 1848. This is the second version of Sky, Wind, Stars and Poem. The front cover of this version is famous for its blue color, actually the first edition of it was published with brown cover. Later in March 1948, 1,000 copies were published with blue cover.Yoon, Dong-ju’s sister, Yoon, Hey-won moved from hometown to Seoul with study note of the poet in December 1948. Commemorating the 10th anniversary of Yoon’s death, Jeongum publishing company added works from study note and published Sky, Wind, Stars and Poem, a compilation of 89 poems and 4 proses. A forward by Jeong, Ji-yong and an epilogue by Kang, Cheo-joong in the second version were excluded. Yoon, Il-joo edited this version with the consultation of Jeong, Byung-wook and the cover picture was drawn by Kim, Hwan-ki. This is the third version of Sky, Wind, Stars and Poem following the organization of The Collected Poems of Jeong, Ji-yong published from Simunhaksa in 1935.The traces of the Japanese Empire and colonization, memory and oblivion, liberation and the division of Korea had flown into the history of these texts.
