연기 교수법 모형 개발 연구- 미하일 체홉의 ‘분위기’(atmosphere) 원리를 중심으로 Ⅰ-

Abstract

본 연구는 한국 내 연기 교육 현장에서 요구되는연기 교수법의 객관화 및 다양성 확보라는 관점에서출발하였다. 그 동안 스타니슬라브스키의‘시스템’ 및 현대 미국식 연기 방법론에 의한 연기 교육에 지나치게 편중되어 있었던 한국의 연기 교육 환경은이제 객관성 및 전문성이 확보된‘새로운 차원’의접근이 요구된다고 본다. 이에 본 연구자는 최근 한국에서 이론적 소개와 연구가 활발하게 진행되기 시작한 미하일 체홉의 연기 테크닉을 새로운 연기 교수법 모형 개발의 대안으로 보고, 이를 실제 연기 교육 현장에서 적용할 수 있는 가능성을 타진해 보고자 하였다. 특히, 체홉 연기 테크닉을 구성하는 핵심요소 중 하나이지만 용어의 의미가 갖는 특성으로인해 추상적이고 주관적인 관점으로 잘못 적용될 소지가 있는‘분위기’요소의 올바른 이해를 도모하고, 이를 새로운 연기 교수법 모형 개발이라는 실제적측면으로 연결시키고자 하였다.본 연구는 총 두 편에 걸쳐 진행될 것이다. 첫 번째연구에 해당하는 본 고는 먼저 '분위기' 요소에 대한이론적 접근을 통해서 실제 훈련 방법론의 적용 이전에 그것의 이해를 돕는 원리 제공의 역할을 할 것이다.This study started from a point of view that the educational field of acting in Korea needs objectivity and diversity. As the educational environment of acting in Korea has been excessively focused on Stanislavsky's 'System' and modern American acting methods, now it needs new approaches which combine with expertise and objectivity. In this sense, this study considers Michael Chekhov's acting technique as an alternative for developing a new model of teaching methods of acting. In addition, this study examines possibility to apply a new model which is focused on one of essential elements of Michael Chekhov's acting technique, Atmosphere, to actual field of acting education in Korea. In order to apply the new model of teaching methods of acting, right understanding not only of theoretical essence but also of formation and correlation between each element of the technique must be a priority. This study is firstly aimed at giving proper understanding of Chekhov's Atmosphere and the second study in terms of developing the new model focusing on the element of Atmosphere will continue so that it could help to be effectively utilized in the educational field of acting in Korea.
