부부의 자아분화가 결혼만족도에 미치는 자기효과 및 상대방효과: 정서표현 억제의 매개효과를 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구는 부부의 자아분화가 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향에서 정서표현 억제의 매개효과와 그에 대한 자기효과 및 상대방효과를 상호역동적 관점에서 확인하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 현재 결혼생활을 하고 있는 부부 총 203쌍(406명)이 연구에 참여했고, 이들을 대상으로 자아분화, 정서표현 억제, 결혼만족도 정도를 측정했다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21과 AMOS 20을 활용하여 분석하였으며, 기술통계분석, 상관분석, 확인적 요인분석, 자기-상대방 상호의존모형(APIM)을 토대로한 구조방정식 모형검증, 매개효과 분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주요 변인들 간의 성별에 따른 평균 차이 검정 결과 정서표현 억제와 결혼만족도에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 남성은 여성에 비해 결혼만족도 수준이 높고, 정서표현을 억제하는 수준이 높았다. 둘째, 자아분화와 결혼만족도 경로의 자기효과와 상대방효과를 검정한 결과, 남편의 자기효과와 상대방효과는 유의했으나, 아내의 자기효과와 상대방효과는 유의하지 않았다. 셋째, 자아분화와 정서표현 억제 경로의 자기효과와 상대방효과를 검정한 결과. 남편과 아내의 자기효과는 모두 유의했으며, 상대방효과에서는 남편의 상대방효과만이 유의했다. 넷째, 정서표현 억제와 결혼만족도 경로의 자기효과와 상대방효과를 검정한 결과, 남편과 아내의 자기효과는 모두 유의했으며, 상대방효과에서는 아내의 상대방효과만이 유의했다. 다섯째, 정서표현 억제의 매개효과 검증 결과, 남편의 정서표현 억제는 남편의 자아분화와 남편의 결혼만족도를 부분매개 했으며, 아내의 정서표현 억제는 남편의 자아분화와 남편의 결혼만족도, 남편의 자아분화와 아내의 결혼만족도를 부분매개 했다. 이를 바탕으로 남편과 아내 각각의 결혼만족도를 높이는 요인들을 찾는 후속연구의 필요성과 교육 및 상담현장에서 남편의 자아분화 및 남편과 아내 모두의 정서표현의 중요성을 인식시키는 도움의 중요성에 관한 제언을 논하였다.; The purpose of the study was to identify a model of mediating mechanism of suppression of emotional expression in the relation between self-differentiation and marital satisfaction in married couples. A sample of Total number of participants in this study was 406, 203 pairs. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaires by online. Instruments was Self-Differentiation, Attitudes Towards Emotional Expression (ATEE), and Marital Satisfaction Inventory (MSI). Correlation analysis using SPSS and Structural Equation Modeling analysis using AMOS were conducted for data analysis. particularly, in accordance with Kenny’s Actor and Partner Interdependence Model(APIM), the researcher separately calculated the two effects; actor effect and partner effect. Bootstrapping was used to test the significance of indirect effect with SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 20. The major results of the study are as follows. First, men have higher suppression of emotional expression and marital satisfaction compared to women. Second, in the path between self-differentiation and marital satisfaction, the husbands’ actor effect and partner effect were significant, but the wives’ actor effect and partner effect were not significant. Third, in the path between self-differentiation and suppression of emotional expression, the husbands’ and wives’ actor effects were significant, but the husbands’ partner effect was significant only. Fourth, in the path between suppression of emotional expression and marital satisfaction, the husbands’ and wives’ actor effects were significant, but the wives’ prtner effect was significant only. Finally, in the result of mediating effect, husbands’ suppression of emotional expression partly mediated between husbands’ self-differentiation and marital satisfaction. And wives’ suppression of emotional expression partly mediated between husbands’ self-differentiation and marital satisfaction, between husbands’ self-differentiation and wives’ marital satisfaction, Based on this, it was suggested that the need to find the factors that increase the marital satisfaction of both spouse for further research, and discussed that the need to give recognition to the importance of husbands’ self-differentiation and husbands’ and wives’ emotional expression to couples in the education and counseling site.
