대학생의 부모화 경험이 신체화에 미치는 영향 : 정서인식명확성과 정서표현양가성의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 부모화 경험이 신체화에 영향을 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 정서인식 명확성과 정서표현 양가성의 순차적 매개효과를 통합적으로 살펴보는 것이다. 본 연구를 위하여 서울, 경기도 및 전국의 대학생 남녀를 대상으로 인터넷 설문조사를 실시하여 총 300명의 자료를 분석하였다. 변인들 간 관계를 살펴보기 위해 SPSS와 Hayes의 PROCESS macro 프로그램(model 6)을 사용하였고 부트스트래핑(bootstrapping) 방법을 활용하여 간접효과의 유의성을 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모화, 정서인식 명확성, 정서표현 양가성이 신체화에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 모든 변인들과 신체화가 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 부모화, 정서표현 양가성은 신체화와 유의한 정적 상관이 나타났으며, 정서인식 명확성과 신체화는 유의한 부적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 중다회귀분석 결과 부모화는 정서표현 양가성과 신체화에 정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 정서인식 명확성에는 부적인 영향을 미쳤다. 정서인식 명확성은 정서표현 양가성과 신체화에 부적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 정서표현 양가성은 신체화에 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 부모화와 신체화 간의 관계에서 정서인식 명확성과 정서표현 양가성의 순차적 매개효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 주로 정서변인들과 다루어지던 기존 부모화 연구의 주제를 확장시켜 신체화와의 관련성을 검토하였다는 점과, 부모화 경험이 신체화 증상에 미치는 과정을 정서 관련 변인들로 구체화 하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 주요 시사점과 제한점, 후속 연구를 위한 제언에 대해 논의하였다.; The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of parentification on somatization and to test the sequential mediating effects of emotional clarity and ambivalence over emotional expression. For the purpose of this study, an internet questionnaire survey was conducted for university students in Seoul, Gyeonggi and nationwide. To examine the relationship between the variables, we used the PROCESS macro program (model 6) from SPSS and Hayes, and verified the significance of the indirect effect by using the bootstrapping method. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the effects of parentification, emotional clarity, and ambivalence over emotional expression on somatization were found to have a significant correlation with all variables. Parentification, ambivalence over emotional expression showed a significant positive correlation with somatization. Emotional clarity and somatization were significantly negatively correlated. Second, in the multiple regression analysis, parentification had a positive effect on ambivalence over emotional expression and somatization, and had negative effects on emotional clarity. Emotional clarity had negative effects on ambivalence over emotional expression and somatization, and ambivalence over emotional expression had a statistically significant effect on somatization. Third, parentification also had statistically significant indirect effect on somatization through emotional clarity and ambivalence over emotional expression in the order. This study is significant in that it is related to the somatization by expanding the existing subject of parentification research related to emotional variables. In addition, it is significant in that the process of parentification affecting somatization is embodied as emotional variables. Based on these results, major implications, limitations, and suggestions for follow-up studies were discussed.
