단편영화 <악의>의 스릴러 영화적 특성 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 단편영화 <악의>의 스릴러 영화적 특성을 분석한 연구이다. 연구 대상인 단편영화 <악의>는 런닝 타임 15분 분량의 단편 스릴러 영화이다. 주로 현대 사회에서 발생할 수 있는 일을 바탕으로 인간성에 대해 되돌아 본다. 필자는 수많은 영화 장르 중에서도 스릴러를 특히나 좋아하기 때문에 단편 스릴러 영화의 시나리오를 만들어보고자 하는 생각으로 이 영화를 구상했다. 영화 <롤라 런(Lola rennt)>의 오프닝에서 말하고 있듯이‘영화는 90분만 하고 나머지는 이론’이다. 즉 영화의 러닝타임은 한정되어 있지만 영화를 통해 도출되는 이론적인 내용에는 한계가 없다. 시간이 지날수록 영화는 그리기 어려운 시간과 공간 언어로, 전통 영화의 리얼리즘을 재구성하였고 이 토론을 깊은 의미의 철학적 차원으로 이끈다. 좋은 건물을 지으려면 기초를 탄탄히 다져야 하는 것과 마찬가지로, 좋은 스릴러 영화는 반드시 좋은 시나리오에 의존할 때에 탄생할 수 있다. 따라서 스릴러 영화의 시나리오 개발 과정을 연구하는 것은 실제로 좋은 스릴러 영화를 만들 수 있는 방법을 찾는 것이라 할 수 있다. 그렇기 때문에 본 논문에서는 먼저 스릴러 영화의 이론적인 내용을 분석하고 연구한다. 그런 다음 이를 토대로 단편영화를 제작하는 과정에서의 실제 응용 내용에 대해 연구할 것이다. 본 논문은 총 3장으로 구성된다. 제1장 서론에서는 본 논문의 연구 목적과 그 연구 방법에 대해 부분적으로 서술한다. 제2장 본론의 제1절에서는 스릴러 영화의 정의를 면밀히 분석한다. 다음으로 캐릭터, 플롯, 서스펜스 그리고 이미지 이렇게 4파트로 나눠서 스릴러 영화의 특성에 대해 세분화 하여 살펴본다. 본론의 제2절에서는 필자가 제작한 단편영화 <악의>를 연구 대상으로 하여 영화의 스릴러 영화적 특성에 대해 분석한다. 전기 제작 단계인 시나리오를 기획한 의도에서부터 캐릭터 설정, 스토리의 플롯, 서스펜스의 활용 등의 내용을 포함하고 있다. 제 3장 결론에서는 앞서 서술한 두 장의 내용을 종합하여 기술하고 있다.; ABSTRACT

A Study on the Thriller Film Characteristics of the Short Film < malice >

This thesis is a study that analyzes the thriller cinematic characteristics of the short film < Malice >. The study of short films < Malice > is a short thriller with a running time of 15 minutes. Looking back on humanity, which is the basis of what may happen in modern society. I've come up with this movie with the idea of creating a scenario for a short thriller because I especially like thrillers among all the genres of movies. According to my interest of thrillers among all the genres of movies and the idea of creating a scenario for a short thriller, I've come up with this movie. With the opening of "Lola Rent" states, the movie only lasts 90 minutes and the rest is theory. In other words, although the running time of the movie is limited, there is no limit to the theoretical content obtain from the film. Over time, the film is a language of time and space that is difficult to draw, reconstructs the realism of traditional films and leads this debate to a philosophical dimension in a deep sense. Just as building a fantastic structure requires a solid foundation, an outstanding thriller can necessarily be born when one relies on a good scenario. Therefore, studying the process of developing a scenario for a thriller movie is actually finding a way to make a good one. That is why this thesis first analyzes and studies the theoretical knowledge of thriller movies. Furthermore, it will study the practical application in the process of making short films based on this. This thesis consists of three chapter. Chapter 1 is the introduction describes in part the purpose of the study and its methods of study in this thesis. Chapter 2 is the first part of the main theory, which analyzes the definition of thriller movies closely. Besides, four aspects could examine the characteristics of thriller movies, which includes character, plot, suspense, and image. The second part of the main theory analyzes the thriller movie's cinematic characteristics, with the author's short film < Malice > being studied. It includes everything from the intent of planning a scenario, which is a production phase, to character setup, plot of story, and utilization of suspense. The conclusions of Chapter 3 are described in a summary of the above chapters described previously.
