dc.description.abstractAn anti-islanding method using reactive power control is presented. The proposed method has few harmonic components compared to the conventional method, and the effect of the power quality on the grid is minimised by the infinitesimal change in the reactive power components. The results of experiments show that the inverter requires a very short time to detect the islanding and to stop the PV system.en_US
