인터넷 신문에서 나타난 ‘한국(계)’ LPGA 선수들의 보도에 대한 독자들의 순혈주의 정서 발현에 관한 연구

Abstract

In order to examine the perception of fans about ethnic pureblood, this study first examines the media reporting behavior according to the performance of ‘Korean’ player and ‘Korean descent’ player active in the LPGA. The purpose of this study is to analyze what is the perspective of the fan’s ethnic pureblood emotion manifested through internet news comment. To this end, we conducted the survey for five months f rom July to November, when the US Open in 2015 begins. A s to the article selection standard during the study period, we selected 121 articles derived by inputting ‘LPGA Korean(Korean descent)’ as a search keyword in Naver’s search window, which occupies 74% of the national portal site’s share. As to the selection of the comments, we analyzed a total of 363 comments based on the top 3 comments with the highest number of ‘sympathy’ among 121 selected articles. As a result of the survey, most of the articles defined Korean players as a combination of Korean national players and ‘Korean(descent) players’ of foreign nationality, and they showed reporting behaviors of pureblood through expressions such as ‘Korean’ and ‘Taeguk warriors’. Of the responses to this comment, 145 comments (40%) favored pureblood, and 218 comments (60%) criticized the pureblood reporting behavior.
