노인요양보호사의 이용자 성희롱 피해경험과 대처행동

Abstract

본 연구는 요양보호사의 이용자 성희롱 피해경험을 실증적으로 파악하고 구체적인 대응 가이드라인을 개발하는 데 목적이 있다 이를 위해 년 월 일부터 월 일까지 조사한 전국 요양보호사 명의 설문자료를 바탕으로 연구를 진행하였다 성희롱 피해경험 및 피해경험 후 대응은 평균과 표준편차를 산출하고 독립표본 검증을 실시하였다 연구결과는 다음과 같다 첫째 성희롱 피해경험에 대해 본인 또는 주변 요양보호사가 성희롱 또는 성폭력 피해 경험이 있다 고 응답한 비율은이다 둘째 성희롱 유형에 따른 경험정도는 시각적 성희롱 언어적 성희롱 물리적 성희롱 기타성희롱 순으로 나타났다 셋째 시각적 물리적 기타 성희롱 경험은 요양복지시설이 재가노인복지시설보다 높았다 넷째 성희롱에 대한 요양보호사의 대응은 중간수준으로 나타나고 있다 이용자 성희롱 대응 가이드라인은 처벌 위주의 정책보다 노인 가해자의 인지능력 수준과 성행동의 수준에 따라구체적인 행동지침을 마련하는 것이 필요하다The purpose of this paper is to empirically examine caregivers' sexual harassment experiences and develop detailed coping guideline. For this, I carried out the research based on survey data among 726 caregivers all over the country from October 10th, 2014 to October 30th. I worked out the average and standard deviation of the experiences and coping behaviors and conducted independent sample t-test. The result of this research is as in the following. First of all, the proportion of 'the person directly involved or caregivers who have experienced sexual harassment or violence' is 12%. Secondly, the experience level according to a type of the harassment is visual sexual harassment, verbal harassment, physical harassment, and other harassment in order. Thirdly, the rate of visual, physical, and other sexual harassment experience is higher in Social Welfare Facility for Senior than in Elderly Care Facility. Lastly, a response of caregivers to the harassment is intermediate-level. It is necessary to establish detailed coping guideline for the harassment according to the level of elderly harassment offenders' cognitive abilities and sexual behavioral level rather than punishment-obsessed policies.
