Abstract
The current study presents procedure and measurements of a turbocharger rotor mass properties, free-free mode natural frequencies and mode shapes. In addition, a structural finite element rotor model is detailed. Predictions of the turbocharger rotor natural frequencies and mode shapes are compared to experimental data.
