객체 및 속성정보 제어를 이용한 BIM기반 파라메트릭 인테리어 패널 디자인 접근방법

Abstract

건물정보모델링은 건축시장 전반의 새로운 패러다임으로 단순히 건물의 설계, 기술, 시공 및 시설 유지관리 분야(AEC-FM)뿐만 아니라 실내디자인 분야까지 그 영향력이 확장되고 있다. 건물 단위의 대규모 구조 및 객체를 다루는 건축 프로젝트와 달리 건물 내부 공간을 다루는 실내디자인은 상대적으로 규모가 작아 벽의 마감재, 창문의 프레임 구조 등 높은 상세수준의 모델링 설계 및 관련 정보를 요구한다. 또한 설계자의 의도를 정확하게 반영하기 위해 세부적이고 구체적인 시각화 자료와 설계방식이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문은 효율적으로 BIM을 실내디자인 프로세스에 적용할 수 있는 방식 중 하나로써 객체 및 속성정보 제어를 이용한 BIM기반 파라메트릭 인테리어 패널 디자인 접근방법을 보여주고자 한다. 이로써 본 연구는 건축물 단위보다 세부적인 단위에서 실내디자인 객체에 BIM을 적용하여 소규모 실내디자인 프로젝트 내 BIM의 적용 가능성과 활용 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구는 실내디자인 객체를 이용한 설계과정 중 반복적인 작업이 많아 알고리즘 적용의 필요성이 높고 기존의 방식보다 시간적으로 많이 단축할 수 있는 프로세스를 구축하도록 인테리어 패널을 연구 대상으로 설정하였다. 연구의 방법은 1)이론적 고찰을 통해 실내 공간 관련 BIM 선행연구 및 파라메트릭 속성 적용 사례를 고찰하고 2)파라메트릭 모델링 및 시각화 프로그래밍 프로세스를 구축한 후 3)BIM 저작도구(Revit)와 시각화 프로그래밍 도구(Dynamo)를 사용하여 프로세스를 진행하여 결과를 도출하는 순서를 따른다. 또한 BIM 저작도구와 이를 기반으로 하는 플러그인 시각화 프로그래밍 도구를 사용하여 입력된 정보의 변경을 실시간으로 반영하여 서로 다른 패널배치 결과를 도출하고 그에 따라 시각화 자료, 속성정보 및 물량정보 등의 유의미한 정보를 추출한다. 본 구현을 통해 실내디자인을 지원할 수 있는 BIM의 활용 방안을 제안하며 더 넓은 분야에 적용될 수 있음을 확인하고자 한다. This paper aims to describe a case study of parametric interior design based on BIM (Building Information Modeling). As the practical use of BIM-based design grows, its influence expands into the field of interior architecture design. BIM makes possible to check various design plan, reach decision making in an effective way, and change design plan in an efficient method. Therefore, BIM is also promising field in interior architecture design. However, compared to other fields in architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, there have been less research and projects on BIM in the field of interior architecture. For increasing the feasibility of adapting BIM in interior architecture design, this paper describes a case study-projecting images for designing interior panels using parametric modeling. This process needs elaborate, delicate, and precise steps for harmonious output. For continuous use of building, users look forward to the design which variable and changeable according to user's preference and environment. Therefore, demand for parametric design in the interior design part such as panel pattern design for various decoration is growing. Treated process in this paper deals with an advanced phase which much effective in decreasing time consumption and useless part of process. Finally, this paper suggests the possibility of using BIM in the interior design process and field where BIM can be applied.
