Backseok`s collection of poems Saseum(Deer) includes reverence and devotion to things existing with the power of mystery and origin. A poem Gobang(antique room) is told as the representative of this case. The persona in dark old room remembers memories which were absorbed in cozy and long confinement like mother`s womb. `An antique room` concealing mystery and origin is a space that the time past transferred to the space and a storage of memories. This paper tries to micro interpret on this poem. Several things and memories remained in the space `antique room`. Backseok constantly choosing the space `antique room` represented the time gone away but which still remained obvious memories and then he conducted romantic regression to the space of mystery and origin. In this poem performing representation of memories in `antique room` including these features, the parts which should be careful interpreted were the third and fourth stanza. Especially this paper noticed “halahbujigayeseo”(a line in the third stanza) in the third stanza. It revealed that this phrase means not `with grandfather` but `grandfather in here` by syntax, semantics and structural analysis. Through reading the work like this, structure of the poem more concretely formed and density of the poem was strengthen.
