We study the interference channel with two senders and receivers. Interference channel is a fundamental model of communication in network theory. Nonlocality, strictly stronger than shared randomness, is one of the non-classical correlations that can be obtained by measurement on quantum systems. We consider interference channels with two senders and two receivers, and show that the channel capacity, the sum capacity Csum = max{R1 +R2 : (R1, R2) ∈ C} where capacity region C of discrete memoryless interference channel (DM-IC) is closure of the set of achievable rate pairs (R1, R2), can be generally improved by nonlocal resources in the encoding. Namely the more nonlocal resources two senders share, the higher the channel capacity is obtained. We demonstrate the improvement when two senders share the so-called isotropic correlations.
